From October 17 to 19, 2016 the largest Russian digital television provider held the Business Forum for Authorized Dealers of Tricolor TV – 2016 «We Are TV» in Moscow; the main objective of the forum was to assess results achieved in the last year and to form the development strategy for 2017.
The main conception was to show what happens behind the scenes of media to participants in the event. Within this conception, the persons invited listened to the lecture of Nikolay Galyadkin about the history of the development of Russian television, visited the central control room of the TV center «Ostankino» and studios of popular TV programs, became guests at the filming of the program «Vecherny Urgant» and were elevated to the top of the Ostankino television tower.
On the second day of the forum, a business program was proposed to the dealers, including the effective sales training held by the well-known business expert Oleg Braginsky, who developed his training taking into account the specificity of the telecommunications market.
General director of «Tricolor TV» Alexey Kholodov, director of sales and customer service Alexey Karpov, director of public relations Elizaveta Kapralova and head of the Development and Sales Department Galina Mikhaylikova also spoke at the forum.
We have achieved a lot since our previous meeting in September 2015: our database of active subscribers has exceeded 12 million. The number of HD subscribers, including new ones and participants in the program of exchange of the equipment, has exceeded 7 million. The company’s sales office chain has expanded to 400 offices in more than 280 cities of Russia.
Moreover, Alexey Kholodov has noted a number of significant events occurred during this period. Thus, in November 2015 in the State Kremlin Palace a gala concert, dedicated to the tenth anniversary of «Tricolor TV» was held, own media resource (information and entertainment portal Tricolor TV Magazine was created, new official website of «Tricolor TV» was launched. «Tricolor TV» was also the first in Russia to launch Ultra HDTV channels and to put in 2016 the «Ultra HD» package and a new sports MATCH! Football package to commercial use. In the spring of 2016, the implementation of the All-Russian environmental project involving large-scale installation of birdhouses «Let’s Help Birds Together!» with more than 150 000 participants began, and such achievement of «Tricolor TV» was registered by Guinness World Records. The support of the unique sound show «Singing Bridges» organized by the Administration of Saint Petersburg and the Prize TEFI – 2016 became one more significant project. To honor the National Flag Day of the Russian Federation, the concert with the participation of Russian entertainment stars was prepared together with the «Channel One»; representatives of various social and charity organizations were invited to the concert among others. Finally, «Tricolor TV» and the satellite Internet provider Eutelsat Networks put the service of bidirectional access to the Internet to commercial use in the autumn of 2016.
And after strategic sessions of the second day of the forum all invited partners, on their part, had the possibility to get answers to their questions and to communicate informally with top managers of «Tricolor TV».
At the end of the event, the ceremony of awarding the first annual prize «The Best Representative of the Corporate Retail Chain of Tricolor TV – 2016». Companies with the best dynamics for the period from September 2015 to October 2016 received commemorative awards for eight nominations and three Grand Prix.
The Business Forum for Authorized Dealers of Tricolor TV – 2016 «We Are TV» with a hundred participants was held in Moscow, in the hotel «Novotel Moscow City».
