The biggest Russian provider of digital television Tricolor TV for the first time took part in Russian Interactive Week, the main annual exhibition-conference event of national high technology industry which was held from 1 to 3 November 2016 in Moscow.
At the event, Tricolor TV presented the services, development of which is envisaged within the framework of the provider’s strategy of transfer from linear to multiplatform broadcasting — Tricolor TV online cinema and tricolortvmag.ru digital portal.
Presentation of online cinema took place on the first day, immediately after the plenary session of RIW-2016. The presenter showman Dmitry Khrustalev, together with the guests thoroughly examined the website kino.tricolor.tv. At the business part of the presentation there was briefing with participation of Tricolor TV Marketing Director Alexander Starobinets, Amedia TV Sales Director Dmitry Sychugov, Development and Sales Director of Tvigle Video Publisher Cloud Irina Kumanyaeva and of Tvzavr Online Cinema Content Sales Director Mikhail Fanduberin. The meeting managed to discuss the process of the project foundation, the platform on which it was created, the resource content — the content of Tricolor TV and partners. In conclusion Tricolor TV and Amedia signed Agreement of Intent to Cooperate.
For deeper immersion of the presentation participants into the cinema atmosphere, the provider arranged the main area according to the respective theme, the guests could walk on the red carpet, help themselves to popcorn, take pictures with Oscar statues and in the separately arranged «directors’» photozone.
Besides, at «Online Video» round table organized by MKS jointly with RIW, where the biggest players of the telecommunications market participated, Tricolor TV Content Director Mikhail Goryachev told about the online cinema launch and the provider’s strategy of interactive services development.
At INTERNET 16 Exhibition within the framework of RIW-2016, Tricolor TV has arranged its own image stand. Thus the guests had the possibility to familiarize themselves with the provider’s cutting-edge services — modern Ultra HD 4K broadcasting format and kino.tricolor.tv and tricolortvmag.ru interactive services — and to communicate with the company employees in the informal environment. The specially prepared series of promo trailers in Ultra HD format was shown during all three days on the big screen of the stand, and thanks to the installed multimedia panels, the visitors could test both resources themselves.
Russian Interactive Week is an annual event in Moscow which unites the leading IT companies, telecom and media holdings. This year the event took place in Pavilion 8 of «Expocenter» Central Exhibition Complex and gathered over 150 exhibitors.
