Mission Possible: Tricolor Won Highest Prize of Media Brand Awards

Experts of industry-specific MediaBrand Awards adjudged five prizes in four nominations to Tricolor projects. A promo video of Ostrosyuzhetnoye Channel brought Tricolor the first place for best editing.

Ostrosyuzhetnoye, a channel of Tricolor’s own production, got awards in four nominations of MediaBrand. Image spot Modern Classics of Action took the first place besting projects by STS, Kino TV and TV-3 and also took the third place in the Best Use of Original Music in a Promo nomination. Modern Classics of Action. Swan Lake impressed the jury with a harmony of a classical piece and sounds of gunfire and started engine. The audio track brought Tricolor the third place in the Best Sound Design nomination.

Copyright in operator’s image spots was highly estimated by the experts. Mission: Impossible. Where Is Tom? (Premialnoye Channel) took the second place, and Mission: Impossible. Lost in Russian Translation — the third place.

The main decision-making body is the Organizing Committee that consists of industry representatives who feel passionate about their business and support the industry in general. Aside from the contest, MediaBrand annually holds the Creativity and Media Conference on issues of branding, promotion and design in electronic media (TV and digital) in online and offline formats.
