Only the best content: Tricolor and Sony Pictures Television have extended their relationship for a further two years
In April clients of a multi-platform digital media operator Tricolor received access to world hits of Sony Pictures Television (‘SPT’). Some of those will be included in the line-up of UHD channels of the Tricolor own broadcast television network.
Tricolor and SPT have extended their relationship for a further two years, in terms of contract, which gives the operator rights to broadcast over 120 films, inclusive of Ultra HD format. The audience of UHD Cinema TV channel shall receive access to such world blockbusters as Venom, Zombieland: Double Tap, Bad Boys For Life, The Angry Birds Movie 2, Jumanji: The Next Level and other popular movies. Hits like Breaking Bad, The Double and House of Cards will be included in UHD Series TV channel line-up.
“Tricolor has a keen interest in development and promotion of its own television channels. Thanks to cooperation with Sony Pictures Television the content of our channels has become even more diverse, and the TV channels got more competitive,”- the Content Director for Tricolor Arsen Khomutov said.

SPT granted Tricolor rights to broadcast movies both on satellite channels and in OTT media, that’s why the subscribers of Tricolor Cinema and TV application can enjoy the best pictures of the American studio. Tricolor Cinema and TV application are available on Smart TV (Samsung - Tizen OS; Sony/Philips - Android TV; LG - webOS), smartphones and tablets (iOS, Android). The app can be downloaded from the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery.
