Tricolor TV supports the XII St. Petersburg International Book Salon
The major Russian operator digital television Tricolor TV is the general partner of the XII St. Petersburg International Book Salon, which took place from 25 to 28 May this year. The event was organized by the Government of St. Petersburg with the support of the Book Union of Russia and the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.
Members of the Government of St. Petersburg, representatives of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg, as well as workers of culture and arts and well-known writers took part in the opening ceremony of the 12-th Saint Petersburg International Book Salon, held on May 25 at Manezhnaya Square.
Within the framework of the exhibition the guests were able to attend the presentation of the collection books of Kakhla E., Klinge M. and other authors — «Meditating Landscape». «Russian Finland and Finnish Petersburg», a round table «Vasily Shukshin today. Actual Academic Context», presentation of the collection «This is football!» and much more.
The bookshop was held in the Mikhailovsky Manege and adjoining territory — Manezhnaya Square, Malaya Sadovaya and Klenovaya streets — and consisted of main and street expositions. The exhibition period was timed to coincide with the City Day in St. Petersburg.
Tricolor TV traditionally supports projects of social significance. A number of cultural events is being realized in St. Petersburg including with the direct participation of the operator. So, Tricolor TV is ;a partner of the cultural and educational project Open City and a unique sound show Singing bridges.
In 2017, within the XII St. Petersburg International Book Salon, more than 250 business and more than 150 cultural events were held; more than 240 exhibitors participated in this Salon. The event was visited by guests and participants from 20 countries, and the number of visitors exceeded the mark of 250 000 people.
